Getting Technical Help
Since we are painfully lacking in technical staff (i.e. we have ONE staff
member - James!) we have installed a Help Ticket System
so that all technical problems can be organized and attacked in a way that prioritizes
those activities that are essential on a day to day basis (i.e. teaching labs,
administrative staff computing, etc.).
To contact the technical staff about a hardware or software problem, you MUST
use the Help Ticket System. Emails sent directly to
James will be considered spam and will not be processed. Therefore, please learn
how to use the Help Ticket System and start using it now!
The use of the Help Ticket System will greatly improve
our technical service time and quality but it will only work if you use it. You will find a link
to it on the front page of the SOCS website - which I am sure is your home page on the browser of
your choice :-)
