Research

I am interested in Artificial Intelligence, particularly in the fields of Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval. Over the years, I have been conducting projects in the following primary and secondary interest areas. You can click "Research" for a list of selected publications.

Primary Interests: Topic Modeling and its Applications, Sentiment Analysis and its Applications, and Temporal Analysis of Narratives and News Articles.

Secondary Interests: Text Segmentation, Text Summarization, Document Clustering and its Application to People Search, Text Categorization, Statistical methods for Information Retrieval, Temporal Reasoning about Plans, and Medical Information Systems.
